Selangor Dredging Berhad

Selangor Dredging Berhad was founded in 1962 by Teh Kien Toh and was the first company in Malaysia to construct and operate dredges. Thanks to the company’s pioneering success in the tin mining industry, SDB was listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in 1964, giving means for the company to explore and diversify in the 1980s into real estate.

Today, SDB has become a renowned, award-winning developer having fully transitioned into property development. Operating across both Malaysia and Singapore, SDB’s business activities include property management and leasing, as well as hotel and residential development. Notable past projects in Singapore include Village at Pasir Panjang, Jia at Wilkie Road, Okio at Balestier Road, Gilstead Two and Hijauan on Cavenagh. The company’s current residential projects include Myra at Potong Pasir, One Draycott and Jui Residences.
